You can remove the footbed for your own insoles, and an extra insole is included as standard. Instead of laces or a zipper, you simply pull the boot on using the loops at the top of the shaft, and thanks to the adjustable buckle, you can set the shaft circumference exactly to your calf.
The sole is a natural rubber tread sole, made for grip on wet and uneven terrain. The seams are also taped, so that no water seeps in through the needle holes.
The lining of this outdoor boot consists entirely of wool, a material that naturally regulates temperature: warm in the cold, cooler as soon as you are on the move. This is due to a three-layer system: oiled leather on the outside, a waterproof membrane underneath, and a wool lining on the inside.
